This policy explains when you can cancel an order and how refunds work on Choplét. It sits alongside our terms of service.
Cancelling an order
You can cancel an order before the vendor has started preparing it. Once preparation has begun, cancellation may not be possible because the goods are being made ready specifically for you.
Perishable groceries
Many items sold on Choplét are perishable or made fresh to order. For these goods, the standard 14-day “change of mind” cancellation right that applies to most online purchases generally does not apply. This does not affect your rights if an item arrives damaged, incorrect, or not as described. The precise position is pending legal confirmation.
If something is wrong with your order
If an item is missing, damaged, or not as described, contact us promptly (see below). Depending on the issue we may arrange a refund or a replacement.
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Refunds typically take a few working days to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
